How to translate Korean text offline

Download the Korean pack
Open Settings, then Offline languages, and tap the download icon next to Korean. It is about 30 MB and only needs to be done once.

Type, paste or speak
Open the Translate tab and type or paste Korean text, and the language is detected automatically. To use your voice, tap the microphone and speak in the selected language.

Listen, copy or scan
Tap the speaker to hear the translation, or copy and share it. On the Scan tab, point at an object to see its name in both languages and save the word.
FAQ
Korean translator questions.
Does the camera read Hangul?
Not in the current version. The live camera and photo import read Latin-script text only. For Korean, type or paste the text, use voice input, or point the Scan tab at objects.
Does the Korean translator show pronunciation?
Yes, on the Scan tab. Korean words show Revised Romanization, the system used on road signs in South Korea, and you can tap to hear them spoken.
Does it work offline in Korea?
Yes. Once the Korean pack is downloaded, typed text translation and the object scanner run on the phone. Voice input uses your phone's own speech recognition, so it works offline only where your phone supports offline dictation.
