How to translate Thai text offline

Download the Thai pack
Open Settings, then Offline languages, and tap the download icon next to Thai. It is about 30 MB and only needs to be done once.

Type, paste or speak
Open the Translate tab and type or paste Thai text, and the language is detected automatically. To use your voice, tap the microphone and speak in the selected language.

Listen, copy or scan
Tap the speaker to hear the translation, or copy and share it. On the Scan tab, point at an object to see its name in both languages and save the word.

Can the camera read Thai signs?
Not in the current version. The live camera and photo import read Latin-script text only. Thai text translation and the object scanner work offline, and you can also speak a sentence to translate it.
Does the Thai translator work offline?
Yes. Download the Thai pack once and text and object translation work without internet. Voice input uses your phone's own speech recognition, so it works offline only for languages your phone can dictate offline.
Does it show Thai pronunciation?
Thai words come with audio only. Tap the speaker to hear them in your phone's Thai voice. The app does not show a written transliteration for Thai.
